This home features a fully equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher. It also includes a second-floor kitchenette, washer, dryer, central heating and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Four Roku TVs and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king and four queen-sized beds.
Outdoor amenities include a furnished enclosed private swimming pool, hot tub, screened-in porch, covered deck, enclosed shower with hot and cold water, private floating dock, and gas grill. The owners will permit the use of the boat lift for an additional $150. South Carolina State Park Pass is included with the rental.
Dog friendly. Limit two dogs – 70-pound maximum weight limit if bringing one dog, 50-pound maximum weight limit per dog if bringing two. Please see the office for the pet policy.
The elevator lift is not included with the rental. No motorcycles. Trailers are not permitted, with the exception of boat trailers. Golf carts are permitted. No smoking. Maximum occupancy: 10
entertainment and attractions
Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and its surrounding restaurants, such as Sara J’s Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam’s Corner.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a coastal town known as the “Seafood Capital of South Carolina” and home to some of the best golf courses in the country. Once a fishing village, the town is famous for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile boardwalk that overlooks a beautiful salt marsh, along with many popular restaurants on Highway 17 Business in the central area.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve created from four former rice plantations, is located just south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American sculptures, trails through various nature habitats, and the Lowcountry Zoo.
If you’re looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.
Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley’s Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest nearby include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third-oldest city in South Carolina, and the state’s second-largest seaport. Additionally, historic Conway features a downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Take a day trip to Charleston for shopping, a harbor cruise, a carriage ride, or a tour of a plantation. Charleston is just 87 miles from Garden City Beach – about a two-hour drive. It’s a beautiful southern city with old buildings, cobbled streets, and historic sites.
